Dates
How do I determine dates? First of all, I use cars. My father-in-law, Don Babcock, spent 40 years selling cars. He has a good feel for model & makes.
Next I use quite extensively, Gaye Lebaron & Joann Mitchell's book, "Santa Rosa-A Twentieth Century Town"

Pictures
Where did you get your pictures? I got 90% of my pictures off of eBay. I look for Postcards, mainly those from a publisher named Patterson. He took beautiful pictures all around Sonoma County. If you have any in your collection you do not see on this page, I would be happy to scan them and add them to this site.
Another gentlemen, Craig (?), let me scan several of his postcards.
Another source is the Sonoma County Library Archives. They are a great resource for pictures.
Camera
I use an Olympus 3030 to take the pictures. The pictures are doctored up with Adobe Photoshop 7.
